YOUNG performers from a Frinton stage school dazzled a huge crowd at a top dance venue in London.
Stagestruck Academy students were invited to take the stage at Sadler’s Wells Theatre – known as London’s premier dance house.
The Frinton youngsters performed at the theatre’s Mardi Gras Challenge, which brings the top dance pupils together from across the country each year.
They clinched their place at the showcase by winning the senior category of the prestigious Can You Dance competition, held in Norwich earlier this year.
Stagestruck students performed twice in front of a crowd of 1,500 at the event, dancing a hip-hop number called ‘Bobblehead’, followed by a contemporary piece called ‘Don’t Speak’.
Principal Simone Castle said: “This has been a fantastic opportunity for our young dancers.
“Being invited to perform at the number one dance venue in the UK has inspired everyone involved. We all had an amazing day.”
