A team of residents have raised more than £2,500 for Children in Need over seven years.
Gemma Davies, Dan and Kat Savill-Green, Samantha Reeve and her son Theodore have organised a bake sale in their road every year since 2010.
Having spent two days baking for this year’s sale on Saturday, November 4, Ms Davies is already planning for next year’s cake extravaganza for Crouch Drive, Witham.
She said: “I was baking for two days straight to make the items to sell and Kat baked a selection of dairy and wheat free goods to sell.
"The weather wasn’t very good, which is becoming somewhat of a tradition with our bake sales, however, many people came along, buying cakes and making donations.
"We start selling at 10am and this year we had a queue of people going out into the road.”
Ms Davies, 29, added: “There were a lot of familiar faces and after seven years we are now getting a selection of regulars from the area.
"We had music playing and Dan dressed up as Captain America Pudsey which the children loved.”
