A PUB is hosting a fundraiser for a brave little boy fighting a rare form of cancer.
The Horse and Groom, in Rayne Road, Braintree, is holding Jacob's Day on Saturday, July 1, to raise money for Jacob Jones to receive treatment in America.
John Ray Infant School pupil Jacob, 4, has been fighting high-risk neuroblastoma since he was two years old.
The event includes a host of family friendly activities, along with food, drink and a special charity auction.
Band Something Else will be performing at the closing stages of the day.
Jacob is set to attend on the day with his parents.
Local businesses have donated prizes to the appeal, however more are always needed.
