Thieves stole hundreds during distraction burglary in Rifle Hill, Braintree (Google Street View)
THIEVES stole hundreds during a distraction burglary.
After knocking on the door of a home in Rifle Hill, Braintree, thieves told the victim they were there to check the plumbing.
The homeowner then noticed £200 had been taken sometime between last 5.30pm last Wednesday and 9.11am on Thursday.
Anyone with information should contact police on 101.
