Braintree man cleared of raping a 13-year-old child
A BRAINTREE man accused of raping a 13-year-old girl has been cleared after a five day trial.
Miley Byrne, 28, of Challis Lane, Braintree, was cleared of four charges including two counts of sexual activity with the girl and one count of raping her in summer 2012.
Byrne had denied all four charges.
He was cleared at Chelmsford Crown Court on Friday.
