Council appoints new community officer
A TOWN council has appointed a new community officer to arrange events.
Witham Town Council has hired Pauline Merritt to run a new Community Day on June 11 and the International Puppet Festival on September 17.
She will also enter the council into competitions such as the East of England Tourist Awards and Essex Association of Local Councils (EALC) competitions.
