TOOLS worth more than £4,000 were stolen in three separate incidents in a village in just over a week.
Carpentry tools valued at more than £1,000 were stolen from a leanto in a garden in St Annes Close, Coggeshall, between November 1 and November 8.
They included a Stihl Chainsaw, a Dewalt and Makita Drill.
Tools worth £850 were stolen from a Mitsubishi pick-up parked overnight in Hill Road on November 9.
Two nights later, thieves forced open a van’s doors and stole tools valued at £2,220 from a Vauxhall Movano van parked on a drive in Tilkey Road.
A Flex Diamond Polish 110v worth £700 and Diamond blades worth £500 were among several items taken.
