Morrisons have issued an urgent nationwide recall on packets of green beans after two separate customers claimed to have discovered metal needles hidden inside the vegetables.
The women, one from Glasgow and the other from Manchester, had bought the vegetables around the Easter weekend when they each made the shocking discovery.
The Food Standards Agency issued an alert on behalf of the supermarket to help raise awareness of the recall.
