FREE parking could be ntroduced at more spaces on Harwich Quay.
The bays in front of the Pier hotel are free between 3pm and 8am, but less than 150 meters away drivers must pay to park their cars. The North Essex Parking Partnership, which is yet to make a decision, has estimated it would lose 10 per cent of its income.
Drivers spend £20,000 a year to park in the 12 bays.
