A BUDDING reporter has launched his own newspaper for a sick neighbour.
Thomas Anderson, 12, writes, edits and even delivers copies of his own title, The Daily Dave.
He started the project after neighbour and family friend, David Robinson, 74, asked Thomas to keep him abreast of the news while he was in hospital.
The Gilberd school pupil began writing news stories of local and national interest.
Mr Robinson was so impressed with his efforts that he began asking for further editions.
Now Thomas, of Bullock Wood Close, is looking to expand his title out to any interested neighbours.
