A teenager had a "lucky escape" after his car was catapulted off the road into a field.
Paramedics were called to the A414 between North Weald and Ongar at about 3.20pm yesterday after reports that a car had left the road and rolled several times in a field.
Crews attended the scene to find the 19-year-old driver, of Earls Colne, had suffered only cuts and bruises, despite the fact his car roof had collapsed during the accident.
