Pupils at a primary school in Jaywick celebrated their school's 40th anniversary with a balloon race.
Students at Frobisher Primary School, in Frobisher Drive, released more than 300 balloons to mark the occasion on Friday.
Pupils are now awaiting people who find the balloons' tags to send them back to the school where they will be pinned together on a board.
