It's official! The first councillor to be voted off on the I'm A Councillor Get Me Out Of Here 2006 for Colchester is... Richard Bourne (Lab, Shrub End).
Youngsters in the area took the decision to give him the boot after deciding he least represented their views.
They logged their vote at a specially-created website (see below) after hearing the policies and viewpoints of six borough councillors after a week of campaigning.
The contenders visited 12 secondary schools to discuss the issues important to young people as part of a national competition being played by 34 councils nationwide.
