Support is growing for an angry councillor who has been kicking up a stink about the pong from human excrement wafting over hundreds of homes.
Frinton and Walton councillors have backed a call by Frinton councillor Nick Turner to get a review of "this disgusting practice."
Councillors voted by eight to three in favour of asking Tendring district council to ask Defra to review its policies about using lime digestive cake and granules "as a matter of urgency".
