Hundreds of runners took to the streets for the eighth Harwich Discovery Run.
Almost 400 people from across Europe took part in the 5km and 10km races on Saturday.
The race, which also raised cash for the RNLI, started at Mayflower Primary School, in Main Road, Dovercourt, with runners pounding along Marine Parade and Barrack Lane to Harwich Town Sailing Club and then back along the promenade to Westend Lane Cricket Ground.
