THEY’RE a band making a big noise in their home city of London, but it won’t be long before Bleech go big everywhere else.
Bleech – sisters Jennifer and Katherine O’Neill, and schoolmate Matt Bick on drums – release their second single, the Worthing Song, later this year.
Their first single, Is It True That Boys Don’t Cry, made the NME Songs To Listen To This Week, as well as the Radio 6 playlist, and since gigging extensively in the capital, they’ve built up an impressive fan base, including Steve Lamacq and Lauren Lavern.
Having already supported the likes of Wolfmother, the Kooks, the Subways, and the Joy Formidable, the three-piece are now playing sets all over the country.
They arrive in Colchester, at the Judge and Jury, on May 24, as part of its Mid Week Heroes night when as well as the live music there will be DJ sets from the likes of Yoshi and Oxy.
