THE fifth Cosmic Puffin Festival has been hailed a success, despite the miserable weather.

Starting on Friday, the three-day festival at the Mersea Outdoors Centre, East Mersea offered music, stalls, attractions and side shows.

Organiser Rusty Russell said: “The feedback has been great, everyone has had a great time.

The festival raised money for the Autistic Society and Bliss, a charity that helps babies born prematurely.
