As a Colcestrian by birth who keeps an interest in the town, I was interested to read about proposals to ban certain vehicles from the High Street.

As my husband and I are both Blue Badge holders who struggle to walk long distances this is terribly unfair. We do not have Blue Badges for fun.

Often our lives are limited enough without being faced with a ban on parking near the shops.

Where are Blue Badge tourist visitors to the town going to park?

Who is going to provide us with alternative wheelchairs/ buggies? In my opinion the council is discriminating against the less able and vulnerable in the community.

They seem to think as we are Blue Badge holders we are easy targets and will not complain.
