A CRASH on the A12 caused mile long tail backs.
A blue Renault Clio overturned at junction 28 on the Colchester bypass, London bound, at around 8.10am.
A male driver was taken from the scene by ambulance to Colchester General Hospital.
The incident blocked on lane and traffic was forced queuing from Colchester Utd's Weston Homes stadium back to junction 28, the Crown interchange, where traffic movement was slow.
