Only the Tories hold on to the theory that to make the rich work harder, you need to pay them more, and to make the poor work harder, you pay them less.
It is quite sickening to watch the 22 millionaires who sit in the Cabinet agree a budget that gives a tax cut to those who earn more than £150,000.
And they still say we are all in this together!

...With more for the millionaires in the cabinet, and their wealthy friends in the City, David Cameron is £5,000 a year better off, and Boris Johnson has an extra £10,000 in his pocket.
What a betrayal of trust!
I trust our local Tory MPs are sitting comfortably with it paid for from a raid on pensioners.
Coming from any government this would be despicable, but coming from an unelected cluster of privileged, it is alas, completely predictable.
The chancellor, with his rented out £2million mansion in London, is typical of politicians, who begin with hypocrisy and finish with contempt for the electorate.
