They came, they saw, they conkered.
Clare Leyland, seven, - pictured with fellow finalist Lucy Zini - and Roisin Brennan, ten, were crowned champs after a week-long conker competition at a school.
They'll get golden conkers as prizes while the runners-up receive I'm a conkerer' badges. There was even a prize for the best-decorated conker.
