A primary school is following in Jamie Oliver's footsteps and introducing healthy food for pupils.
Richard de Clare Primary School in Parsonage Street, Halstead, is to bring in new healthy menus after a Food for Thought fortnight led by a professional chef and health expert.
David Soraf, head chef at Tabor School, Braintree, and former health advisor to schools for Essex County Council, has spent two weeks in the school working with pupils and parents to teach them about healthy food.
