Police are appealing for witnesses a week after an armed robbery at a supermarket.
A security guard was robbed at gunpoint by two men at Morrison's, in Braintree Road, Witham, on September 29. The incident happened at about 11am. A cash box was stolen.
The men fled in a blue Vauxhall Cavalier car, which was later found alight in Motts Lane. Officers will be at the Morrison's store and at a railway crossing on Eastways Industrial Estate, near where the car was found.
They are hoping to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or saw the men and car afterwards.
