A light aircraft was forced to make a crash-landing in an Essex field.
Witnesses feared for the lives of those on board after hearing the "horrifically loud" noise of the two-seater Yak 52 before the engine went silent.
Luckily the pilot and passenger were unhurt after safely bringing the silver plane down to rest in a field.
