I was appalled by the comments of some Frinton and Walton town councillors over a proposal to expand a care home being built at Great Holland.
Remarks like “more like an institution” and “this sort of thing will change the nature of our whole area” are unhelpful and disgusting.
The Government is doing enough damage to elderly people without local councils joining in.
I would suggest to councillors Watling,Watling and Bucke that they will be old and vulnerable one day!
