A GRANT of £12,000 has been given to refurbish a village hall.
The Cory Environmental Trust has given Rowhedge the cash to revamp the small hall roof and storage area.
Yvonne Gibbs, one of the hall’s trustees, said: “We are extremely grateful to Cory Environmental Trust in Colchester for this award, which will form part of the funding towards the refurbishment work.
“We are hopeful that the remainder of monies will be in place towards the end of January, enabling us to commence work on phase two of this project.”
