SOLDIERS from Colchester are now ready to deploy anywhere in the world within days.
Troops from the town’s 16 Air Assault Brigade have completed their final piece of training and have become the nation’s rapid reaction squad.
Officially called the Airborne Task Force (ABTF) those ready to be dropped around the globe include some of Colchester’s elite paratroopers.
