A teacher who sexually assaulted one of her pupils at a Colchester school has been detained indefinitely under the Mental Health Act.
Suzanne Harrison, 38, had pleaded guilty to two offences of sexually touching a girl aged under 16 and one of sexually touching a girl aged under 16 involving penetration.
Harrison, of Wacker Field, Rendlesham, also pleaded guilty to engaging in sexual activity with a child while in a position of trust.
At Ipswich Crown Court on Thursday, was detained indefinitely for treatment under the Mental Health Act.
She has also been placed on the Sexual Offenders Register for seven years.
