I am writing with regard to the article (Gazette, June 14) headlined: “The eight of us can’t go on in our 3-bedroom home”.
The couple have been waiting seven years to move, then why have they got a three-year-old son?
The cramped conditions are obviously self-inflicted.
Don’t have more children if you can’t accommodate them.
Practise self-control or family planning, like the rest of us, if you want to give your kids good living conditions – it’s not difficult nowadays.
The parents are responsible for the discomfort their children may be suffering from.
My husband and I decided early in our marriage we would like 12 children, but we later came to reality and decided we could neither afford them nor house them, so we stopped at a comfortable four.
