FIRE fighters were called to deal with a fire in Colchester.
The fire broke out at a derelict building at the Hythe about 4pm on Saturday.
Four fire engines were called to tackle the fire at the disused building.
The fire was eventually put out by 7pm and fire crews stayed on at the scene to damp down the area. For more on this story see Monday's Gazette.
