THE man gunned down on his doorstep in St Osyth has been named as Anthony Prickett, 42.
Mr Prickett, who worked for Bulat Roofing in Walton, was taken to Colchester General Hospital but died of his wounds to his face and stomach.
Police made a series of raids around the area following the shooting amd arrested a man in Scotland.
He was being questioned last night.
