I am a student at St Benedict’s College and am writing about the article on our protest (Gazette, January 31).
It said Year 10s and 11s took part and the majority of students were in the lessons.
That is not true. Years 7, 8 and 9 were involved as well. In fact, the majority of students were in the protest.
At one point, students burned their books and ties.
I am not saying things to wreck the school’s reputation, as I actually like the school, but I think the truth should be given to the newspaper.
