WAITING times for patients are set to drop after two new consultant urologists were appointed.
David Galvin and Zafar Maan are both based at Colchester General Hospital but also run outpatient clinics across north Essex.
John Corr, Colchester Hospital University NHS Foundation Trust’s lead consultant urologist, said: “I welcome David and Zaf to the team and also this expansion in consultant capacity which will result in reduced waiting times for patients.
“They have a variety of different skills which means we can continue to offer a wide range of urological procedures.”
