POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a teenage girl was accosted by a middle-aged driver in Thorpe.
The 14 year-old girl was walking when a car drove past her, turned around and pulled up beside her, before the driver called out to the girl.
She ran away, while the old white saloon, with a silver bumper and red body parts near the rear, drove off towards Frinton.
The driver is described as being in his 50s, olive skinned, unshaven, with short dark hair and a foreign accent.
It is the second such incident in recent days.
