A 13-YEAR-OLD boy was taken to hospital after being hit by a car in Colchester.
The boy was in collision with a blue Peugeot 206 at about 3.30pm outside Essex County Hospital in Lexden Road.
He was treated by staff from the hospital.
Ambulance crews and a road policing unit were also called to the scene.
It is not thought the boy was seriously injured.
