Cherry blossoms – pupils say farewell to Lynne Wilcox
PUPILS and staff have said a sad farewell to their deputy head of 21 years.
Lynne Wilcox has left Cherry Tree Primary School, in Holt Drive, Colchester, to start a new project for children with special educational needs in Yorkshire.
Headteacher Sharon Short said: “She has been a very dedicated person and outstanding teacher. She has a particular interest in children with learning needs and has been the special educational needs co-ordinator.
“She will be greatly missed by everyone and we wish her all the luck in the future.”
