POLICE are trying to trace the driver of a small white car, which was involved in a crash in Colchester.
The vehicle was involved in a collision with a silver Xsara Picasso car on Westway at about 10.30am yesterday [TUE 10/08].
Both drivers stopped and the driver of the white car said he would pull over behind the silver car. However he failed to stop and drove off.
PC Dan Cole said: "The driver of the white car is described as a white man, about 19-years-old, with ginger hair. There was also a white man in the front passenger seat and two white women in the rear.
“This is a busy road and the silver car held up traffic for a while so we’re confident that a passer-by would have seen something. If you have any information that could help this investigation, please come forward.”
