The Inns, Taverns and Pubs of Colchester is a book about the history of our pubs that I first published in 1995.
Since that time, many pubs have disappeared and various revised editions of the book have been published.
The history of our pubs is one that fascinates.
At least 20 pubs have disappeared over the past 20 years, and this trend is now a fact of life.
I am currently revising the book and would like the help of the good old boys and girls of the town.
What I need are pictures and stories about our pubs, past and present.
