TRAINS have been suspended due to a track-side fire, causing chaos for north Essex commuters.
National Express has cancelled services between London Liverpool Street and Shenfield until further notice, due to the blaze at Romford.
No details of replacement bus services have been announced.
London Underground and London Buses have said they will accept National Express East Anglia customers on "all reasonable routes".
Train operator c2c said National Express East Anglia customers could travel on trains between London Fenchurch Street and Southend Central.
And First Capital Connect said it would take National Express East Anglia customers between London Kings Cross and Cambridge in order to get connections to Ipswich, Norwich and Colchester.
The fire has had an impact on services across the National East Anglia network as trains needed for local Colchester and Tendring services have been stranded elsewhere.
