A MAN who went missing from The Lakes, in Turner Road, has been found alive and well.
Police were called, at about 11.30am on Monday July 26, after reports of a man running away from the mental health unit in Colchester.
The police helicopter and cars were sent out to search around Castle Park, North Hill and the surrounding roads.
The man was found later on that evening and returned.
The Lakes provides support and treatment for adults with acute mental health problems.
