A ROLLING road block had to be put in place on the A12 after a car struck a six foot piece of metal in the middle lane.
Police were called to the northbound A12, between the junctions for Marks Tey and Eight Ash Green, just before 4pm on Monday July 26.
The large piece of angle iron was removed and the road was fully re-opened by 4.30pm.
