Colchester Zoo’s Action for the Wild has donated £5,000 to a project trying to save the critically endangered Amur Leopard.
The Zoo's charity is sponsoring Wildlife Vets International for 2010 by handing over the cash.
The project works to provide veterinary support for the conservation of the animals in the Russian Far East, where there is estimated to be as few as 25.
