A grateful son is back to his best following a lifesaving kidney transplant.
Dan Lincoln, 29, endured years of poor health and spent eight hours a day hooked up to a dialysis machine. Proud mum Irene said today he was transformed after she gave him one of her kidneys.
Mrs Lincoln, of Colchester, said: "I am suffering a bit, because all my organs have been moved around, but it's a small price to pay to see Daniel so full of life. He is eating and drinking and running around it is just amazing."
