A STUDENT hopes to raise £2,300 for charity by trekking 250 miles along the Great Wall of China.
Gabriella Sach, of East Street, Coggeshall, is taking on the challenge for Childreach International The 21-year-old seasoned traveller chose to support the charity after she witnessed the poverty suffered by people in Africa.
Childreach International helps children and young people in poor communities.
Miss Sach said: “It was set up by two students and it’s grown massively since it began.
“To see that is incredible and I’d like to do my part.”
The trek will last 12 days and starts on August 25.
Gabriella is taking part in the walk with pal Charlotte Taylor, a 21-year-old recruitment worker from Gosfield.
