Job Title: Features Writer
The Role:
We are looking for a general features writer to contribute to our features sections with topical issue investigations, real life stories and celebrity interviews. Our sections include leisure, homes, business, woman, health and education. Applicants for this senior role will have been trained in either news reporting or features writing.
Although the role is based in Basildon, the features department covers the whole of south Essex producing stories for all three Echo editions in an area renowned for its great story potential.
The Person
Good organisational skills are essential to the role as is the ability to work well within a busy but vibrant team.
