Road users faced long delays today after two lorries collided on the A12.
The accident, which happened just before 6.30am, caused one of the lorries to spill a load of Carlsberg beer barrels and bottles on to the carriageway.
PC Steve Woods, of Stanway road policing unit, said the accident was on the A12 near the Ardleigh crown interchange with the A120. Neither lorry driver is believed to have serious injuries.
