Families won the chance to visit a blackcurrant farm to see how Ribena is made.
Feeringbury Manor farm in Feering opened its gates to the public for the first time in the drink's 73 year history.
Four families from across the country won the chance to see how Ribena blackcurrants are grown and to hear from local blackcurrant grower Robert Crayston about the quality and importance of British-grown fruits.
Colchester mum Joanne Sawyer, who went with her children Christopher, 14, Emily, five, and Sarah, three, said: "The whole family learnt a lot about the British countryside.
"It’s not always easy to get out to farms or rural areas to see where our food comes from, or even something that I’ve thought about much before."
