Who wants to be an emperor or an empress for the day?
The organisers of the inaugural Colchester Chariot Spectacular are looking for appropriate candidates for the post to come forward.
Taking place on the town's Abbey Field on July 16, the appointed head of the event will get to start each race and - as their title deserves - will be treated like royalty. Nominations for the post could be people who deserve recognition for good deeds, or someone who has overcome personal hardship.
