A man who was told he was to lose his job was found dead in his car with the engine running, an inquest heard.
Robert Lingard, 53, was found by his son at his home in Queensland Drive, Colchester, on May 16, an inquest at County Hall, Chelmsford, heard yesterday.
The cause of death was given as carbon monoxide poisoning caused by the inhalation of car exhaust fumes. An open verdict was recorded.
