A CHARITY made a Colchester teenager’s dream come true when she got to meet her favourite boy band.

Aimie Pryke, who has cystic fibrosis, met pop sensation JLS at an hour-long session with the band in London.

“It was amazing,” the 15-year-old said. “They were really kind and did anything for you. Aston even did a back flip when we asked them to.”

The band met with eight families, where they chatted to the youngsters, signed autographs, and gave an impromptu performance of their number one hit Everybody in Love.

The four boys turned their charm on Aimie’s mum, Karen, who added: “I wasn’t a JLS fan before, but I am now.”

The meeting was set-up by the charity Rays of Sunshine, which makes dreams come true for children aged between three and 18 who suffer from serious and life-limiting illness, as part of the Make A Wish programme.

Band member JB became an ambassador for the charity in January, and they were delighted to brighten up the lives of the youngsters.

Aimie said she has been following JLS ever since they were runners up to Alexandra Burke in the 2008 X Factor competition.
